Unisnacks Europe Ltd (“Unisnacks”, “we”, “us”) operates this B2B trade portal. We are a UK-based importer and distributor of world food brands. Our registered address is available on Companies House. For data protection enquiries, contact us at contactus@unisnacks.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

When you apply for a trade account or use the portal, we may collect:

  • Trade application details: your name, job title/role, company name, trading address, email address, and phone number.
  • Account and order data: order history, delivery preferences, and payment references associated with your account.
  • Technical data: a localStorage authentication token stored in your browser for session management; no traditional cookies are set by our portal for tracking purposes.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data under the following UK GDPR lawful bases:

  • Contract: processing necessary to fulfil your trade account application and subsequent orders.
  • Legitimate interest: to manage our sales relationship, improve the portal, and communicate relevant service information.

4. How we use your data

  • Setting up and maintaining your trade account on our ERP system.
  • Processing and fulfilling orders you place through the portal.
  • Contacting you regarding your account, orders, or deliveries.
  • Assigning a sales representative to support your account.

5. Third parties we share data with

We may share your data with the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Oracle NetSuite (ERP): for account and order management.
  • eLogii: for delivery route planning and scheduling.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS SES): for transactional emails (order confirmations, account notifications).
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: for bot protection on our trade application form. Turnstile may set a strictly-necessary token during verification; see our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for the duration of your active trade account plus a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting obligations. Inactive accounts may be reviewed and deleted after 24 months of inactivity, subject to regulatory retention requirements.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data where there is no compelling reason for continued processing.
  • Restriction: request that we limit how we use your data.
